Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan encourages people to to be more concerned about cleanliness by not littering the environment, including water channel.

He said, it is important for citizen to avoid throwing garbage carelessly. Thus it will not make environment becomes dirty and polluted.
"Do not throw garbage carelessly, especially to the river. Moreover it is plastic waste," he affirmed after joining the team to clean up garbage at Mangrove Forest, Muara Angke, Pluit Urban Village, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, on Monday (3/19).
According to him, his side will also coordinate with regions near Jakarta to solve waste problem. "We want to build strong synergy thus river which flows to north coast of Jakarta could be freed from garbage," he explained.
He added, Muara Angke Mangrove Forest area which is currently covered by pile of trash will be planted with more mangroves.
"After it is cleaned, Insya Allah the area can
be planted with mangrove soon," he expressed.
